Carrefour College Sabercats third baseman Tony Quere failed to get a hit against the Zapopan College Golden Panthers and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 20-year-old went 0-for-4 in his club's 8-4 victory over the Golden Panthers at Golden Panthers Park. "I think I only made it to 24 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." This year, Quere has hit at a .490 pace and produced 37 RBIs, 16 home runs and scored 48 runs. |   |
