 | Delgado Strokes 5 Hits Sunday, April 13th , 2042 All game long, Panama College's Julian Delgado was rattling the walls at Flyers Park and banging out base hits against the Port-au-Prince College Arsenal. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Flyers had a win, 10-1. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 19-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Julian Delgado hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Christophe Robert in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Francisco Favre in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Patrick Rey in the 8th. Thus far this season in 35 games, Delgado is batting .367 with 19 home runs, 39 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has 51 hits in 139 at-bats. |   |
