In the Toronto College's 10-2 win over San Antonio College, first baseman Dick Dewitt was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Globe Life Field. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Dewitt said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Dick Dewitt singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jason Steele in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and doubled in the 8th.
