 | Harper Clobbers 3 HR Against Loggerheads Thursday, April 17th , 2042 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Rangers-Loggerheads game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Toronto College right fielder Chris Harper thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Toronto College to a win, 13-4, over San Antonio College. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Harper said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Harper, who is tied for 4th in the SL2 in runs scored with 46, was 4-for-5 on the day with 5 RBI. Chris Harper hit a solo-shot off Tyler Paige in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Billy Connors in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Chris Anderson in the 8th. Currently Harper is batting .394 with 56 hits and 19 home runs. He has knocked in 46 runs and scored 46 times. |   |
