| Pack 5-for-6 for Loggerheads Monday, April 25th , 2044 Even as a kid, Brad Pack said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Loggerheads Stadium, Pack showed how well he learned that lesson.
The 18-year-old second baseman had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the San Antonio College Loggerheads, helping his team knock off the Guatemala College Spurs by a score of 11-10.
"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did."
Brad Pack grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Mario Galvan in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
This season, Pack is hitting .350 with 19 home runs. | | |
