The Laval College third baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Keys Park. His home run barrage helped the Keys defeat the Sabercats, 5-0. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-4, scored 3 times, drove in 3 and put on a display that history will remember. Dave Taggart hit a solo-shot off Chris Ware in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Chris Ware in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Vincent Jacquin in the 7th. For the season, Taggart is hitting at a .343 clip with 12 home runs, 25 RBIs and has scored 22 runs. He has 23 hits, 11 walks and a .443 on-base percentage. |   |
