 | Mize Bashes 5 Base Hits Monday, May 2nd , 2044 At Beavers Park, first baseman Jake Mize led all batters with 5 base hits, but his Workmore Horned Frogs still dropped the game, 7-5, to the Bondville Beavers. Jake Mize doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Emilio Damian in the 9th. Mize is hitting .443 this season with 8 home runs, 17 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 35 hits in 79 at-bats. |   |
