In the Halifax's 18-4 win over New Haven, second baseman David Rodriguez was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Rush Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Rodriguez said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." David Rodriguez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
