Despite his hitting heroics at Winnipeg Grounds, the 67's lost, 12-8, to the Winnipeg Swordsmen. Ryan battered Winnipeg for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Ryan just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits." Rob Ryan singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. So far this season, Ryan has hit .368 with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 7 times. |   |
