The right-hander used his signature sinker to perfection as the Modoc Red Claws waltzed to an easy 13-0 win. "He was what the kids call 'filthy,'" losing manager said later. In a dominant performance, Cardenas faced 28 batters in all and finished the game with 11 strikeouts and 1 walk. "After the first couple of innings, I knew I had some good stuff going," Cardenas said. "In the bullpen, it really wasn't that good, to be honest. But when I got out on the mound and flipped the switch, I had some pretty good stuff." |   |
