| 5-for-6 Game for Tatum Tuesday, May 16th , 2045 It takes more than one player to win a baseball game - as proven by Tyler Tatum of the Workmore Horned Frogs.
The Workmore right fielder gave it his all and dominated Bondville Beavers pitching at Beavers Park, finishing with a great 5-for-6 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Beavers going home the winner, 15-14.
"There's no point gloating about a 5-hit day in a loss," Tatum said. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 5 home runs instead."
Tyler Tatum flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
So far this year, Tatum is batting .252 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 6 runs scored. | | |
