 | Fairbairn Launches 3 HR for Warriors Friday, June 2nd , 2045 Fans are still buzzing after Wasilla whipped the Anchorage Seawolves by the score of 9-0 at Alliance Park. Ben Fairbairn smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, had 7 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Fairbairn said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Fairbairn said. "Three is just... wow." Ben Fairbairn hit a solo-shot off Joe Gaddy in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Joe Gaddy in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Jorge Rocha in the 9th. Thus far this year, Fairbairn has hit .295 with 13 home runs and 37 RBIs. |   |
