 | Wildwood's Wisniewski to Miss Season Saturday, June 3rd , 2045 The doctors have spoken and Bryan Wisniewski of the Wildwood Jets didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old left fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Wisniewski sustained his season-ending injury during the Winnipeg Swordsmen game yesterday at Winnipeg Grounds. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while making a defensive play. Today the Wildwood medical staff reported Wisniewski had a broken kneecap and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8-9 months. This year, Wisniewski is hitting .250 with 5 home runs and 13 RBIs in 37 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .299 with 5 walks and 10 runs scored. |   |
