Sunday, July 9th , 2045
The season is ending on a bad note for Toshitake Hamano, reliever for the Minneapolis Spirit. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Hamano was hurt against the Otter Lake Caribou while throwing a pitch. He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 10 months.

Hamano has taken the mound for 13 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 2-2 record with a 5.77 ERA. The Minneapolis reliever has limited opposing batters to a .255 batting average.
