In the Bondville's 18-2 win over Pachuca, third baseman Jimmy Vogel was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Beavers Park. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Vogel said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Jimmy Vogel hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
