Wildwood first baseman Danny Steinhauer tripled up on the home runs to propel the Jets to a win, 9-0, at Washington Stadium. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Ottawa manager said. "Steinhauer hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Steinhauer collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Danny Steinhauer flied out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jordan Hamilton in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jordan Hamilton in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Chris Redden in the 7th. This year, Steinhauer has hit at a .228 clip with 21 RBIs, 9 home runs and 15 runs scored. |   |
