 | Buchan Whacks 3 Out of the Park for Modoc Wednesday, May 21st , 2042 Modoc Red Claws second baseman Lucas Buchan had a magnificent game against the Minneapolis Spirit, rocketing three balls out of Spirit Grove to help the Red Claws win, 12-5. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Buchan went 4-for-5 with 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Modoc manager said later. "Seems like Lucas found his home run stroke today." Lucas Buchan hit a solo-shot off Joe Freeman in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Joe Freeman in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Cesar Diaz in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. For the year, Buchan is batting .257 with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |   |
