 | Maniscalco Rips 3 HR Saturday, May 24th , 2042 Whatever Dan Maniscalco ate for breakfast before his game against the Portland Bruins, it gave him some impressive power. The Bondville third baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Beavers Park. His home run barrage helped the Beavers defeat the Bruins, 10-2. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-5, scored 3 times, drove in 6 and put on a display that history will remember. Dan Maniscalco hit a two-run home run off Enrique Pinon in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Enrique Pinon in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year, Maniscalco has batted at a .224 pace with 36 hits, 9 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 26 times. |   |
