 | Mejia Captures SL2 Batter of Month Award Sunday, June 1st , 2042 When Ramon Mejia stepped up to the plate in May he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Sub League 2 Batter of the Month award. The young North Salem second baseman posted a .364 batting average with 14 home runs, 34 RBIs and scored 27 runs. Mejia also worked pitchers for 15 walks to post a .462 on-base percentage. For the year, Mejia is batting .298 with 17 home runs, 45 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |   |
