For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Marcos Feijoo, it came around today. The 22-year-old catcher scattered hits all over Spirit Grove to pace the 17-8 Vancouver Orcas victory over the Minneapolis Spirit. Minneapolis skipper told reporters in the press room that "Feijoo deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Feijoo hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Marcos Feijoo doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Luis Espindola in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. Feijoo is currently hitting at a .255 pace with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. |   |
