The 23-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Steelhounds past the Edmonton Riverhawks.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Guerra told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The shortstop went 3-for-5, rung up 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day.
Rafael Guerra hit a solo-shot off Chris Serrette in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Glenn Keefer in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th and hit a three-run home run off Bobby Samu in the 12th.
