The Fresno Rattlers grabbed the 4-2 win over the New Haven Patriots, but the Patriots mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 27-game hitting streak of Rattlers center fielder Manuel Rubalcaba. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Rubalcaba," New Haven manager commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Rattlers have other hitters and they did their job today."
