 | Celedon Booms 3 Homers Thursday, July 7th , 2044 Bernierville Warhawks center fielder Danny Celedon put on a dazzling display of power at Quebec City Stadium against the Quebec City Ironmen. In the 11-1 Warhawks victory, Celedon penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts. "He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Quebec City manager said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well." Along with his three home runs, the 19-year-old had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Celedon said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today." Danny Celedon struck out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Orlando Garcia in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Alex Gomez in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Alex Gomez in the 9th.
