But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the View Flying Squirrels rising star has won the Sub League 1 Reliever of the Year Award for 2044. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.16 ERA over 23.1 innings. He also had 2 saves in 21 relief appearances, 15 strikeouts and only 7 walks. He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 24. Jon Torres of the Gasburg River Cats finished second in voting with 10 first place votes, while Eric Hines of the Bernierville Warhawks finished third.
