| Peaches Squeeze By Oklahoma City, 5-4 | The Atlanta Peaches beat the Oklahoma City Twisters, 5-4, in 10 innings. Atlanta pitcher and Port-au-Prince, Haiti, native Lucas Olivier led the way. Mitchell Wilson came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 5-4. Atlanta now sports a record of 25-38.
Miguel Avila went 1 for 4 for Atlanta. The 23-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Cesar Gomez. It was his 7th RBI of the season.
"Our guys refused to lose," said Avila.
