Leon starter Julio Labron pitched well against the Seattle Pilots at Pilots Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. The Pilots, now 24-40, have lost 4 straight.

Leon used the timely hitting of Carlos Mena to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Toltecs on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm happy we won," said Labron. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
