| Rangers Earn 5-3 Home Win | The Houston Rangers picked up a win at Globe Life Field, knocking off the Leon Toltecs, 5-3. Starting pitcher Jalen Griffin was a big reason why. Picking up his 14th save was 23-year old left-handed pitcher Enrique Castro. After today's action, Houston sits at 32-53, while Leon falls to 30-55.
The Rangers got a big at-bat from catcher Zachary Payne Jr.. For the game, Payne Jr. went 1-4 with a triple. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Houston a 3-1 lead.
"I went after the hitters," said Griffin. "No pussyfooting around."
