Denver Hot Streak Continues with 3-2 Win
The Denver Queens converted a terrific effort from starter Kareem Brobbey into a win over the Leon Toltecs at Queens Field. The Queens won the game by a final score of 3-2. Mark Dawson notched his 3rd save in 7 chances. The first-place Queens, at 59-35, now lead their division by 4 games.

Sal Vallejo had a big run-scoring triple for the Queens in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Denver leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a cutter from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Julio Labron and swatted a triple to right. It was his 4th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Queens ahead, 3-1.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Leon manager David Fields.
