| Queens Run Win Streak to 11 | Josh Neal was outstanding against Atlanta. The right-hander, who finished 2nd in the UL in ERA with 2.14 in 2043, had a sinker that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Queens 3-2 win. Sergio Aguilar recorded the save, his 19th. Denver has run its win streak to 11 in a row.
Had Jorge Castillo not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Castillo hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Queens.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Neal. | | | | |
