| Hitters Bridle Toltecs, 4-3 | The Hollywood Hitters picked up a win at Toltecs Field, taking down the Leon Toltecs, 4-3. Starting pitcher Joe Ward was a big reason why. Ward, now 8-8, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 4, and allowing 3 runs. The Toltecs, now 33-70, have lost 5 straight.
Daniel Hernandez, who is tied for 5th in the UL in doubles with 26, had a direct impact on the outcome. Hernandez contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Hollywood up, 4-3.
