| Big Game from Taylor Not Enough, Luchadors Lose | The Mexico City Marauders spoiled a good performance by San Diego left fielder Jimmy Taylor, bumping off San Diego, 5-3, at Luchadors Field. Taylor slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Gabe Carrera got the win, improving to 9-3. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 run, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Mexico City has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.
Mexico City used the hitting of Eric Burne to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Marauders on top, 5-0. For the game, Burne had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
