Montreal Slaps 8-4 Loss on Tampa Bay
The Montreal Mammoths topped the Tampa Bay Sunrays, 8-4, with youngster Ludovic Chauvet playing a key role. Chauvet went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Mammoths in the win. Sébastien Alexandre finished the game for Montreal and earned his 1st save. The first-place Mammoths have won 4 straight.

Jordan Rojas was 1-3. He drove in 2 runs for Montreal. The 35-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Lee O'Meara. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Rojas said.
