The Miami Makos defeated the Toronto Robbers, 10-1. Right Fielder Willie de la Rosa deserved a large share of the credit. de la Rosa was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Makos. The Makos have an impressive 15-9 record.
Early in the game, de la Rosa had a grand slam home run for Miami. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Makos on top, 4-0.
