Philadelphia picked up a win at Mounties Park, bumping off the Toronto Robbers, 5-3. Pitcher Danny Ramirez was a major reason the Fury emerged victorious. Ramirez yielded 3 runs over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 9. His record improves to 3-2. James Gambon, who is a two-time All-Star, earned the save for Philadelphia.

Philadelphia used a clutch at-bat from Willis Mendez to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Fury ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
