Philadelphia wasted a solid 8.2-inning effort from starting pitcher Roberto Valladarez, losing to Toronto, 2-1, at Mounties Park. Yes, it was a win for Toronto; but their 9-21 record is still nothing to boast about.

The Robbers got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Chris Olmedo. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Robbers.

"I hope this win gives us a jumpstart," said Olmedo.
