Robbers Stumble, Lose to Hawks
Chicago Hawks starter Stephen Wilkins was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Toronto Robbers, 9-1. Wilkins got the win, improving to 3-2. He gave up 6 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. Chicago goes to 13-18, Toronto to 9-22.

Jean Guillot had a big 2-run home run for the Hawks in the bottom of the first inning. With Chicago leading 1-0 and a runner on 3rd, he got a fastball from Jon Cardenas and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hawks ahead, 3-0.

"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Wilkins.
