Toronto took on Montreal in front of a lively crowd.

A good performance from shortstop Dave Manriquez helped the Toronto Robbers defeat the Montreal Mammoths, 9-3. Manriquez was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times for the Robbers. Toronto bumps their record to 18-13 with the win.

Anton Molina had a big 2-run home run for the Robbers in the bottom of the second inning. With Toronto trailing 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Thomas Hau, who is tied for 3rd in the IL in complete games with 1, and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 7th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Robbers ahead, 2-1.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Manriquez. "And not try to do too much."
