| Stern Goes Distance in 6-1 Win | Rob Stern, who is tied for 3rd in the IL in complete games with 1, propelled his team to victory over the Montreal Mammoths. The final score was 6-1, Arlington. The win elevated the Arsenal to 23-16.
Stern, a native of Bakersfield, California, was dealing all game. He kept Montreal hitters off-balance, while giving the Arsenal 9 quality innings. Stern threw 95 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 6.
"Rob giving us the start that he did was huge," said Arlington manager David Fields.
