The Boston Kings got a superb performance from pitcher Matthieu Thomas, but the Toronto Robbers still won the game, 5-3. Thomas threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Mario Saldana, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The victory puts Toronto at 14-32.

Toronto used the timely hitting of Jordan Rojas to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Robbers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I do my best to contribute," said Rojas.
