| Hood K's 10 En Route to 9-2 Vipers Win | The Detroit Vipers topped the Toronto Robbers, 9-2, in Independent action at Mounties Park. The standout performance belonged to Detroit pitcher and Austin, Texas, native Andrew Hood. The Vipers go to 20-29 with the win.
Hood, now 2-4, scattered 2 hits over 6.1 innings for the Vipers.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Hood told the Detroit Citizen.
