Lutz Now 6-3 After Beating Robbers
The Miami Makos, behind a great outing from J.P. Lutz, who finished 4th in the UL in strikeouts with 158 in 2038, defeated the Toronto Robbers, 1-0, at Honolulu Stadium. Walt Dudash finished to wrap up his 6th save. With the win, Miami pushed its record to 35-21.

Lutz was in the zone, shutting down Toronto hitters over 7 innings. Lutz, who threw 100 pitches, allowed no runs on 4 hits. He also tallied 7 punchouts.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Toronto skipper David Fields.
