Montreal pitcher Juan Castillo had a large part in his team subduing the Miami Makos, 8-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The loss makes Miami 3-4.

Castillo made it look easy. He scattered 3 hits over 8.2 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-0.

"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Castillo told the Montreal News.
