Mammoths Get Close Win Over Sunrays, 4-3
The Montreal Mammoths trumped the Tampa Bay Sunrays, 4-3, at Mammoths Field. Montreal center fielder Jay Butler was terrific. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Sunrays have now dropped 5 straight.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Montreal trailing 3-2, Butler jumped on a fastball from fireballing right-hander John Winsor and hit a 2-run home run to left. With one swing, the Mammoths had a walk-off win.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Butler.
