At Honolulu Stadium, the Montreal Mammoths and Miami Makos were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Miami Makos beat the Montreal Mammoths, 13-2, at Honolulu Stadium. Miami catcher German Aguino had an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. The loss makes Montreal 58-50.

With Miami leading 2-1 in the bottom of the second, Aguino hit a sinker from Val Kerr for a bases-clearing double. It was his 18th double of the season and put the Makos ahead, 5-1.

Montreal manager David Fields called the blowout loss "a real stinker."
