| Toltecs Need Extra Innings to Top Luchadors, 3-2 | Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the Leon Toltecs were eager to watch Mitch Kroening square off against Juan Rosario of the visiting San Diego Luchadors. In the end, the Toltecs won the game, 3-2, with Mitch Kroening leading the way.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Leon first baseman Ryan Fager, facing Dustin Seavert, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Toltecs the 3-2 win.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager David Fields.
