| Marauders Beat San Diego, 1-0 | The San Diego Luchadors and Mexico City Marauders provided some drama for the home crowd.
Mexico City pitcher Edgar Villagomez did his part in helping his team beat the San Diego Luchadors, 1-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Robert Medina sewed up the save, his 3rd.
Villagomez, the Mexico City right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. He collected 8 strikeouts.
"Edgar made the big pitches when he needed to," said Mexico City manager David Fields.
The victory makes Mexico City 7-2.
