| Oklahoma City Beats San Diego in 11-Inning Thriller | Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Luchadors Field.
San Diego got a valiant performance from pitcher Mark Berry, but it wasn't enough to beat the Oklahoma City Twisters. Oklahoma City won the game, 5-2. Berry threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. Chad Strickland recorded the save for Oklahoma City, his 1st of the season.
Oklahoma City took a 3-2 lead on Eric Sibley's 2nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Sibley hit in the top of the 11th, left San Diego pitcher Bill Kowalchuk visibly frustrated.
Sibley called the win "a collective effort."
The Twisters, now 3-8, have not found much traction so far in 2042.
