| Peaches Get Hard-Earned Win | Atlanta pitcher Colin Denman did his part in helping his team defeat the Denver Queens, 3-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Chet Corson finished to wrap up his 6th save. The Queens drop to 4-9, as their stumbling start to the 2042 season continues.
Atlanta needed the clutch hitting of Jesus Reyes to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Peaches on top, 3-2. For the game, Reyes had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"That was a really good outing by Colin," said Atlanta manager David Fields. | | | | |
