| Hitters Get Hard-Earned Win, Stop Luchadors, 6-5 | The San Diego Luchadors got a sterling performance from pitcher Mark Berry, but the Hollywood Hitters still prevailed, 6-5. Berry threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Hollywood is now 8-8.
Robert Hernandez came through with a big-time hit for Hollywood. The left fielder smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Hollywood manager David Fields.
