| Toltecs Win Nail-Biter | Both teams had their chances, but the Leon Toltecs eventually prevailed.
The Leon Toltecs had to weather a strong performance from San Francisco pitcher Ruben Sanchez before claiming a 3-2 win in 11 innings. Sanchez went 5 innings and allowed no runs. Leon reliever Al Reyes got the win, raising his record to 4-1. Scott Kelly was tagged with the loss.
The Toltecs got a clutch hit from designated hitter Frank Foutch. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Toltecs.
"This win should put a little bounce in our step," said Foutch.
The win gives Leon a record of 7-11.
