Mexico City got a strong outing from Santiago Negrete as the Marauders defeated the Leon Toltecs, 3-1, at Toltecs Field. Nick Weaver got credit for the save for Mexico City. It was his 9th of the year. Mexico City has now won 6 games in a row.

The Marauders had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 3-1, Mexico City, with no one out. Leon, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Frank Foutch dug in at the plate, but on a 1-0 cutter, he hit into a double play.
